2. People – Respect everyone involed, that includes players, visitors, officials, judges, helpers, organizers… Respect judges decisions and decisions of officials.
3. Visitors – Visitors come of many reasons. They come to watch a friend, coworker, family member, they come to watch the sport or are just random on event site. We don’t know them so present DiscDog in best way possible. Also know, some people don’t like dogs or are even afraid of them. Have your dog under control at all times.
4. Dogs – Respect for your dog as well as every other dog is the main value of our sport. If we want to pet another dog always ask for permision. Don’t offer treats or food to other dogs without permision. Respect all dogs, their private space and their needs.
5. Your Dog – The way you treat your dog when noone is watching tells a lot about you. Show him love and respect. Let it be your partner in sport and not equipment. They are living, thinking and feeling beings and this way we treat them. Adopt your play to field, weather, his age and condition, his knowladge anddo everything to prevent injuries.
6. Competition – There is one cup but everyone is a winner if both you and your dog enjoyed the play. Don’t be ashamed of the last place be ashamed of first place if you and your dog did not enjoy and had fun on the field!
